Erdogan: My 11-year old dream has come true

"City Hospitals Project," launched by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and implemented by public-private sector cooperation, commenced as of yesterday. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the project which was held in Halic Congress Center, Erdogan said, "Today, we witness a milestone in terms of health facilities in Turkey. It was my dream to initiate the City Hospitals Project 11 years ago. We use to get up at dawn and get in the queue in Okmeydani Hospital to get a number. Then, I went home and got my deceased mother not to let her wait in the queue for hours. Our people will no longer face these problems." The total investment made for this unique project amounts to 15.285 billion Turkish liras.
